More About Me

Rob is the founder of Byko Realty, an agent of ERA Wilder Realty, Inc., serving the metro-Charleston area. He holds National Association of Realtors’ Designations as a Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) and Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES). Rob is also NAR-certified as a Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE) and At Home With Diversity (AHWD).

Rob serves his community as Board Chair for the Charleston County Public Library Board of Trustees. He has also served as a Board member and Paul Harris Fellow with the Historic Rotary Club of Charleston, serving in leadership positions on the Public Relations and Vocational Service committees. Rob volunteers his time and skills as a professional photographer to advocate on behalf of numerous local non-profit organizations.

Rob lives on Sullivan's Island with his wife, Karen, and 2 rescue Boxers, Finster and Kayli. In off-hours, you’ll likely to find Rob with a camera wondering the historic back alleys of Charleston or in the Audubon Swamp Gardens of Magnolia Plantation, a local favorite among nature photographers, photographing nesting Anhinga, Egrets, and Herons.

As a professional photographer, Rob's work has been featured in galleries and he is a featured contributor to Charleston City Paper, SiP Magazine, Island Eye News and CharlestonCurrents.com.

Rob lives on Sullivan's Island with his wife, Karen, and their two rescue Boxers, Finster and Kayli. In off-hours, you will likely find Rob with a camera wandering through SI's maritime forest, the hidden alleys of historic Charleston, or in the Audubon Swamp Gardens of Magnolia Plantation photographing nesting Anhinga, Egrets, and Great Blue Herons.
