Rob Byko

Rob is the founder of Byko Realty, an agent of ERA Wilder Realty, Inc. located in Mt. Pleasant, SC, serving the metro-Charleston area. He is certified as an ERA Distinctive Property Specialist, and awarded the Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) and a Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE) designations.

Rob serves his community as Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Charleston County Public Library; and served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Historic Rotary Club of Charleston, where he also chaired the Club's Vocational Service Committee. Rob has been recognized as a founding member of the Club's "Charleston 50" program, raising funds for the Rotary Club of Charleston Fund which benefits Charleston-area non-profits. He is also a Paul Harris Fellow.

As a professional photographer, Rob's work has been featured in galleries, various websites and in private collections throughout the U.S. and the Bahamas. He is a featured contributor to Charleston City Paper, SiP Magazine, Island Eye News and CharlestonCurrents.com. Rob also donates his time to photograph on behalf of the Rotary Club of Charleston and various other Charleston non-profits.

Rob lives on Sullivan's Island with his wife, Karen, and their two rescue Boxers, Finster and Kayli. In off-hours, you will likely find Rob with a camera & tripod wandering through SI's maritime forest, the hidden alleys of historic Charleston, or in the Audubon Swamp Gardens of Magnolia Plantation photographing nesting Anhinga, Egrets, and Great Blue Herons.
